Applying for a VET Course in Australia can seem overwhelming, but we’re here to guide you through the application process for our VET degrees. Follow this step-by-step guide on how to apply as an international student and study in Australia with us.
Getting Started Before enrolling at Franklin International College, it is essential for students to participate in a Pre-Enrolment Consultation. This consultation can be conducted with one of our approved Education Agents or designated FIC staff members.
During the Pre-Enrolment Consultation, prospective students will have the opportunity to engage in one or more sessions to gather additional information and time to make an informed decision. These consultations can take various forms, including face-to-face meetings, video conferences, telephone calls, or email exchanges.

Apply through an authorised agent
Some students choose to apply through an authorised Franklin International College agent, for assistance with the college application and visa arrangements. Most international students can apply directly to the College. To do so, get in touch with our team and seek assistance to commence your application, and follow the guidelines provided by our team.
What happens next?
Once we receive you application with the supporting documents, we commence with assessing your application. Once your application has been assessed, you will receive an email from the College or your authorized agent.
Conditional offer
We will sometimes issue a conditional offer – this means that you may need to satisfy certain criteria such as academic and English language conditions before you can be issued with an unconditional offer. You will need an unconditional offer before you can proceed through the next steps.
Full Letter of Offer
You will receive an email from the college with instructions on how to accept your unconditional offer. Offers are accepted through by sending us a signed copy of the LOO and processing your tuition fees along with the additional costs.
You must then pay your fees, which includes the semester tuition fee and send us a copy of your overseas students health cover (OSHC). The type of health cover you need will depend on your visa type. If you wish to get your OSHC from the college, please contact our admissions team.
Confirmation of Enrolment
Once all the steps above have been completed, we will issue your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). It allows you to officially enrol in your chosen program. The CoE contains essential information, including details about you, the program you will be studying, estimated costs, and the duration of your studies. You will need your CoE to lodge a student visa application if you plan to study in Australia.
We value the importance of providing comprehensive information and support to ensure students make informed decisions and have a smooth transition into their chosen course at Franklin International College.
